Sakura is our true Mini Teddy Bear, adored for her soft fleece coat in rich Chocolate Phantom coloring, soulful eyes and bright, attentive mind. Affectionate, playful and wonderfully people-focused, she loves children, car rides and outdoor adventures, bringing a saucy, endearing sense of humor to everything she does. Nicknamed “Short,” like a baseball shortstop, Sakura is legendary for her athleticism, outjumping every dog to catch a ball midair, swimming farther than the rest to retrieve it and outwitting even her larger companions with speed, agility and heart.

An exceptional miniature Australian Labradoodle, Sakura has produced some of the most well-rounded miniature and petite miniature dogs any program could hope for. Her lineage is known as our “Starbucks greeters” friendly, loyal, highly intelligent, intuitive and deeply attuned to their families, excelling in environments such as counseling, hospice, and rehabilitation settings. Though heart-wrenching to retire her, we are proud to carry her consistent temperament, athleticism and unconditional love forward through the incredible puppies she has produced and the lines we have retained.
